Announcement
Microsystems applications (MST) in automobiles have become commonplace: they enable the introduction of a series of new
functions and at the same time the replacement of existing technologies offering improved performance and better value for
money. Since 1998 the AMAA conferences cover the full spectrum of microsystems and their application in the automotive
environment in presentations, exhibitions, demonstrations and an accompanying proceedings edition (Springer-Verlag).

Topics of AMAA 2008 are:

  • Safety
all aspects of preventive and protective safety (e.g. accident avoidance, pre- and after-crash actions, vehicle stability control)
  • Powertrain
on-line measurement and control of engine and transmission subsystems (e.g. emission control, traction control)
  • Comfort and HMI
systems to enhance the comfort of passengers and human machine interface issues (e.g. seat, climate control, driver assistance)
  • Networked Vehicle
all aspects of intra-car systems and ambient communication
  • Technology related topics
  • Sensors (e.g. pressure, harsh environment), power aspects (e.g. low power sensors, energy harvesting), managing complexity

If you want to receive further information by mail or email, please send your personal contact information to the AMAA office (office@amaa.de).
